Ten day forecast for Orlando: (No prizes for guessing what night I am due to arrive. At least there'll be no big rush to unpack and assemble the bike ).

Geocaching...! Well well, you meet some people and you just never know, Ed's a cacher.....!

I started caching a few years back whilst on holiday in Canada. Within a cache I found a little purple teddy bear with a dog tag attached, this is called a trackable. The owner, a 6 year old boy from the west coast of America had placed it in a cache near his home. Someone finds it, takes it out and places it in another cache. And this goes on and on.
It travelled all over America and made its way up to Canada where I found it in a cache. I brought it to Scotland and hid it in a cache and it moved about. Without trying I found it again and I had a holiday booked for Australia and took it and hid it down under. The young boy can follow its progress on the geocaching website and we and others put photos online of its travels.....

Cody was prepared for Scottish weather, went for a game of golf, flew to Oz, and roasted his marshmallows on the campfire!

I don't know quite why......., @Pat "5mph" , but some geocachers get geocoins made up and they release them into a cache with the same idea as a trackable, that it travels from cache to cache and they follow it's journey online.!!!! A bit of expense required there. The dog tags to attach to a trackable, which can be anything, is about £5, but getting a coin made..........££££££'s

I'll show you a few coins I have helped on their way......
