Snow looks excellent to you? Mad people

I didn't see snow forecast

Yes, @Harry_Palmer79 - the one you waited at the top of in the rain and wind while I (and another rider, I believe of the female persuasion :girldance:) walked up it. You could at least have come back down a bit to encourage us !

I've done that in the past for you and @Fubar ;)

I did reply to this but the site went down as I tried, I was going to head West to Kincardine then up to dollar for food and towards home really
In that case, wouldn't really be a case of joining you on the ride, given that by the time I got to Dollar you'd have done the entire loop!

My memory of that hill was doing my usual huffing and puffing out of the saddle, half a turn of the cranks at a time, and only just managing to reach the top; meanwhile @Telemark sat glued to her saddle and pedaled steadily all the way, complete with a pannier full of cake, and was hardly out of breath at the top :bravo:.

Maybe, @Brandane - but I am referring to the inaugural "CC Ecosse 3 Ferries (and only 2 showers)" ride - the one when you got a tad damp on the way home ... not the "Eat-as-much-of-Telemark's-cake-as-you-can" version !

You were doing your gracious guide duties, telling us it wasn't that bad. Having ridden it before on a DF, I knew it was doable - and that you were being a little economical with the truth reality ! (or should that be :boxing: ?)

Those were the days when @Pat "5mph" had wee legs and heavy bikes ... [sigh]

Well that narrows it down to any ride I've done in the last 5 years ......

You're going to have to watch the cycle path at Kincardine (on the Longannet) and the back road at Aberdona heading towards Dollarbeg - both notorious for black ice.

I seem to recall the odd ride you needed some "encouragement" too...

More than encouragement at times

Judging on the temp recently and the fact cowden has still got a blanket of snow on the roads then I'm thinking I won't be on the bike tomorrow

Main routes should be fine after around 10am. No snow in Dunfermline.
