The problem was the barn was mega bucks for a bare shell and there was no where for the guests to sleep

All day, the site did have space for tents and thats what we wanted to have but at 7k just to hire the bare shell we decided it was a bit steep

Could you not buy one for that amount? You're right, it is steep!
We didn't spend more than £1k on everything including the honeymoon and we went to Stockholm for 5 nights over the new year period!

I don't think I want to get married again! My sister is looking at spending nearly £25k on her wedding next year!

We had planned a mammoth trip across the U.S. for our honeymoon but Mrs the_craig couldn't get the time off.

So we went for a fortnight in Mexico which was good but not once in a lifetime.

I do fancy a couple of weeks in Mexico, doesn't exactly need to cost thousands, We quite fancy a holiday other than just sitting on a beach too though
