Yep, all being well I'll be there.
I would suggest pre ride refreshments , but with my old man bladder syndrome that might not be a good idea. The good people of Leith Walk might object to me stopping every hundred yards to mark my territory . Then again, there is whisky; and with the 25ml tourist measures served in the capital that would solve the problem....

Anybody in Arran this weekend?
Our Fiona @flyingfifi on tour got knocked into a ditch by a timber lorry 2 days ago on her way to Lochgilpead. She is now in Arran (campsite at Lochranza) unable to complete her tour. Her confidence cycling on the roads has vanished, she can't cycle to the ferry in Brodrick.
She will be picked up by car in a few days, if you are planning to cycle there Fiona could do with an empathy hug.

I just saw this. I was on Arran Friday/Saturday. If I'd know about flyingfifi's plight I would have gone up to Lochranza to offer her tea and sympathy. I hope she got her lift sorted

I'm on the train now. A bit early I know, but going to have a wander around the exotic eastern city to see how the other half live, then get something to eat before the ride. Also suffering from a lack of sleep despite no work today! Hopefully see you there. @GlasgowFinn and @Telemark too.
