Last two days have been amazing weather, I have the sunburn to prove it. Weird to think last Sunday at 3 pistes we had snow, sleet and hailstones!

What a day! Largs to Dumfries via Ayr, Maybole, Dalmellington, Carsphairn, Moniaive, and Dunscore. 104 miles in the sun. Now on the train heading home to recover from the never ending climbs. Never, ever, want to see a hill again or ride 100 miles, @Pat "5mph" !
Can't see me ever doing it. As much as I enjoy my cycling, I just don't fancy sitting on a bike for around 7 hours.Great ride I've yet to do anywhere near a ton this year

The tons not that bad an experience, I have done 4, with two of them being this year. One of them was my biggest ride at 125 miles solo. Few stops for comfort food helps. With mileage and time you spend on the bike you would smash it.Can't see me ever doing it. As much as I enjoy my cycling, I just don't fancy sitting on a bike for around 7 hours.
