Is that when we can expect the rain back then?. It's been two whole days without it .
I'd rather keep the cold but dry weather. At least I can be tempted out on the bike!
My training for PfS and for our tour is not doing too well
Been working too many hours, eat lots of comfort food in the hope it would give me energy, put on 2 pounds instead of starting to lose a stone :cry:done only utilitarian cycling.
Must try a lot harder
On the plus side - there is always one ^_^ I have been practicing tight right turns on my commute (I'm pants at this) managed consistently to cycle through a pesky gate crossing without falling off, even done a few u-turns near the water
Road cycling is so much easier than path cycling, if there only weren't any cars

Hi Telemark!
I should have gone with you ^_^
I wasn't a Belles ride, it was actually a wee job I'm getting paid for even if there were no participants.
Would have stayed to help the mechanic, but the hub has only gas bottle heating for now: the gas run out, we could not purchase more at the local garage, so we both decided to call it a day.
Seems it is going to stay quite cold here until Wednesday.

You are welcome any time :hello:... there were 10 of us, quite a good turnout for a cool grey day (but dry & hardly a breeze )

Wow, great ride, @Rasmus ... hope all descended safely on the slushy stuff!

Well that will be handy, as long as there are loads of tight right turns on the PFS 100 miler - which I don't think there will be .
None of your Italian BS excuses; you WILL be riding 100 miles from Glasgow to Edinburgh in 6 months time!!!!
I might join you, as long as it's not raining.

Errrm; or the wind is blowing from the east; or it's too cold, or...or.....

Aye, but @Brandane and no doubt @snorri are faster than me, that means they get less rained on like for like milage

Well put my road bike in the shop today in the hope of using it next week, pretty much everything is rusted solid on it, my brake lever is now faulty too so having to wait on getting a new one of them. Rear wheel has also seen better days and might need a new set of wheels
