I've only been to Arran once, and went straight over the String Road.
You youngsters need to put some Cyclechat times on that Strava segment to inspire me to go back once I lose my 'title' - am currently placed 1st (out of er... 1 ).

After 4 visits I have to disagree with the honorable gentleman re mrs machrie bay. 224 miles punctuated by her loveliness. Alas though @Col5632 being a master Facebook stalker showing she is already eloped, my dreams of a meaningful mid ride relationship are forever in tatters.
