Front ice tyre successfully wrestled off all by myself
, puncture fixed and non-ice tyre installed ... it was actually not THAT hard to take off, compared with last time ... when that particular tyre almost defeated 3 people (including
@snorri &
@HJ) and broke a tyre leaver or two ...
The culprit was a stud that had shoogled its way inwards through the tyre with its flat side ... big silvery surface showing on the inside of the tyre ... not sure that should be happening? (It had deflated overnight, so I didn't get to ride to work today, but at least I didn't have to wrestle with it by the side of the road somewhere
)
Anyway, that's me ready to ride again, bike cleaned and some TLC for the poor old winter chain
