'ts all right, I'll ride it myselfJust getting my excuses in early!
The punishment for my earlier weather related smugness was delivered in the form of an off! Minding my own business crossing a wood surfaced bridge when I saw a turn off to the right I wanted. Braked to scrub off some of the already low speed and down I went.
The damp surface had some algae on it, and was like ice! No damage done, but landed on my already dodgy left hip which probably didn't help things much. Being a brave soldier, and possessing a fair amount of the "ahh fuggit" Scottish mentality, I pedaled on to my destination in downtown Kissimmee (a Jamaican restaurant for lunch of curried goat with rice and peas). The return journey of 18 miles westbound was directly into that "light breeze" I mentioned earlier, which had matured into something more like a Floridian hurricane!
Back at base now and no signs of any lasting damage.

Must have been the day for it cause I hit a slippy part on a roundabout last night and down I went
That's my right hip in the picture, my right elbow is also feeling bruised
Ouch! I think I got off comparatively lightly. GWS, and I hope it isn't a "can't cycle for a while" type injury.Must have been the day for it cause I hit a slippy part on a roundabout last night and down I went

"No Dear, it's really badly bent - I'll have to get something to replace it, to save money on the car/fuel etc"But... is the bike ok*?!?!?!
Edited for purpose
This is @Col5632 's hybrid beast we are talking about here - it would take an atom bomb to bend that thing.
Your no kidding, it's like a tank
I'll certainly be looking for you to organise a repeat of the Dundee-Perth-Dundee run @Edwardoka, a cracking ride and delicious stop in the middle (Newport?)80% sounds about right So long as you're able to partake in the CC Ecosse Tour this year that's all that matters! (being able to use your arm is good too I suppose... )
