@Edwardoka really has a cunning Plan, which I read about in another thread on CC ...

Basically, he deliberately leaves the house a minute or so later each day, thus requiring him to ride faster  so he still gets to work on time, thus continuing
contributing to the economy
The result of this will be seen during 'The Season' :sun:, when he is way too fast for the rest of us me and spends his time waiting for the rest of us me by eating CAKE :hungry:, thereby undoing all his mid-winter efforts.

He will, however, really enjoy his rides.

An interesting hypothesis but sadly a provably wrong one!
Today I staggered into a meeting 18 minutes after my official start time( only 3 minutes late to the meeting though :hello: ) still wearing my cycling get-up (and I was slower than I was yesterday )

What's that old saying,
If you find yourself in the company of a halfling and an ill-tempered dragon, remember that you do not have to outrun the dragon; you simply have to outrun the halfling.
I don't have to outrun the broom wagon, I just have to outrun the arrière du peloton
He will, however, really enjoy his rides.
For a given value of "enjoy"

Would you believe it??? I got the silent treatment by a guy at the lights yesterday morning! Wouldn't normally bother saying good morning to random guys on bikes  but it was an empty street at 7am, we were both stopped at the lights next to each other, seemed rude not to say anything.
I mean, only because I ride a tractor ...

3.5 miles run last night :heat: What am I doing to myself

Thankful for the rest today and maybe all weekend, thats 100 cycling miles done, 2 gym sessions and a 3.5 mile run this week :heat: Not had a takeaway or fizzy juice since the 4th January and no alcohol since the 1st but that's easy cause I barely drink :bravo:

Need to be careful you don't do too much, I know you're young but you are still damaging muscle when exercising, the more you push it the more susceptible you are to injury - build in a rest day young man!
