good run out today. went up Glendevon, down and along to Dunning, before taking 2 mins off my PB going up there on Wednesday ( 22 mins against 24 mins) , started descent before back wheel punctured. a battle with wheel and massive midgie attack left the end pretty poor. c02 can only partially inflated tyre, made it about 10 miles before it kept drifting out and rumbling knocked chain off. gave up and phoned for a lift at that point. made it home in time for a quick shower then race to tesco for cider, and chippy for dinner. Forza Italia!!

Pumped tyre up this morning, massive gouge in it, limited options with being away this week, so took being robbed at lbs as character building

after today im only 500ft from my highest month of climbing. really annoyed losing 8 nights I cant cycle over next two weeks.

Cracking day down on Arran yesterday. Did the figure of 8 which gave me about 75 miles. Stopped for an ice cream at Lochranza and it was superb

I'm jealous

I've not been doing a great deal of cycling recently, still doing the commute but struggling to find the motivation to do more

Some time after my offer of super dom, I got asked to be a ride leader! So I need to be at the start for 22:15.

I can still meet you, if you don't mind a bit of extra hanging about before the start? We'd need to be exiting Waverley by 22:00 or just before.

Ride leaders are a funny mix of 'THE BOSS' and a Superdom, to be honest . You just have to share @edindave with a few others .
