Brake cable never snapped, gear cable hasnt been changed in over 3,000 miles, you could see the rust starting to take over the cable, neither were there fault and i've done more than 50 miles you cheeky git

didnt think you had been on it much since you got it back. what did the service involve if they didnt change the cables? they may be doing you a favor fixing out of hours, but their workmanship sounds very poor.

Full safety check
Chain checked, cleaned (if necessary) and lubricated
Tyres set to the correct PSI
Brakes and Gears readjusted
Tyres and Brake Pads checked for wear

He supplied and fitted a bottom bracket for £15, so it cost me £40 in total, which was the only reason the bike went in really

Maybe they werent perfect but its how you deal with the problems that makes good customer service, they even fitted two tyres to the bike FOC

Went up Dunning glen and came down Glendevon early this morning. Was pretty gloomy but should be nicer now.

Must be the tyres coz I don't think I am any fitter than last year. Lol

Kind of regret not getting into it years ago. Bit of a golden oldie now to make much more progress but I enjoy it and it keeps the weight off so all good.
