Well I planned to do about 40 miles this afternoon, put my spare tyre on and a brand new inner tube, got all my kit on and began cycling, I done 0.2 of a mile, hit a massive pothole, another puncture, I had no spare tubes so I began taking it all back off again so I could patch the tube up, only to find I had a kit but no glue  time I went up to halfords to get tubes and glue I lost all motivation to go out, on the plus side the bike is fixed again

I had a great day doing 80-ish miles around pretty much all the OS chevrons on the Cowal peninsula. More 20% ramps and climbing out of the saddle than I've ever done before. Here's the view across Loch Fyne to Lochgilphead from the insane climb from Glendaruel to Otter Ferry.
I've done that the Otter Ferry - Glendaruel way and very nearly climbed off .... was very gravelly on the down side ... and very steep.

Chapeau, Rasmus - you are surely the CC Ecosse 'Goat of the Mountains'. :bravo:

Less than 20k of cycling today, but lots of digging cross-training at the allotment in the sunshine, in short sleeves :sun:
That's the onions, shallots and 1st early spuds planted, tomorrow is the turn of the 2nd earlies and early maincrops ... can only carry so much on the bike each time . On the return journey, a large bag of leeks and a big box of rocket and other leaves filled the panniers, tomorrow will be the rhubarb's turn :hyper::hungry: ... crumble with lots of custard :mrpig::mrpig:.
