I've had them on my road bike since I got it (after replacing the stock tyres). They're nearly 3 yrs old and the rear is finally losing the wear indicator so needs replaced. Maybe a handful of punctures in that time, but I do run them hard - 110 PSI front, 120 rear.

I "downgraded" from the Aksium slicks that came with same wheels to Conti GP 4000s on the Focus. Fantastic tyres.
I've a spare set sitting waiting to be fitted to the Triban. Was waiting for the fairy-whose-name-we-dare-not-speak to visit before I did the switch, but now it seems I'm waiting for a new wheelset before I do the switch.

What a day :sun::wahhey:, barely a breeze, good company, cake ...
HJ and I went for a wee ride along the coast to Longniddry for lunch, stopped off at Seton Collegiate Church for some sightseeing - lovely place! Will add some pictures in a bit.
I took the my light bike, effortless after a winter of riding the tank with ice tyres - only downside was a fairy visit on the Innocent path on the way home, luckily a slow one, so only one stop needed to pump up:pump: the offending tyre to got us home...
(Stock tyre, must invest in something better ... either the above mentioned contis (NOT 23!) or schwalbe marathons ...)

Lots of cyclists everywhere

Tomorrow looks like another nice day

Cracking day! Spent the whole day in the garden building another raised bed and planting out my spuds and onions. Been down south all week, weather has been amazing. Make the best of it while it lasts. :sun: :becool:

@tug benson took me up sherrifmuir and dunning glen today. Great day for it

I distinctly remember thinking how tough a climb it seemed as @Rasmus @mr messy and I were bombing down it on the way to the Perth ride.

One for the bucket list, right after world peace and terraforming Mars  Well done though!

I'm not getting faster on long climbs, but I am getting better at not having to stop. By the end, it being my 4th day In a row on the bike was catching up with me, and everything but my legs where twitching away at me. Deffo a day off tomorrow
