I'd be up for a bash at an Arthur's Seat Hill Climb contest. I've always wanted to take part in a race of some kind, and a wooden spoon will come in useful for cooking with once I've settled again

I think a summer rv to Arthurs Seat for our own informal ride to the top is on order. what day is summer again this year???

There are a few hill climbs/time trials etc coming up as part of this year's Edinburgh Festival of Cycling, or EdFoC for short...
On this page, you need to click through to June to see the events (calendar not working 100% yet), and more events being added every day now. You might want to follow them on twitter, so you don't miss out on the popular stuff when the tickets become available
@edindave, there are also rumours that the ERC will organise something as part of EdFoC ...

Start from the barrier at the car park by St Margaret's Loch - map here, head east-ish up along Queen's Drive to Dunsapie Loch where it flattens out again ... about a mile. Simples
