@Rasmus are you going to lead a PoP feeder route from Glasgow this year?
I'm going to take the train and walk from the Meadows, as I'm doing @Brandane 's 3 ferries next day, could not manage the two.
Will rally a few of the fasted Belles to increase numbers if you do :hello:
Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to attend - that weekend might be occupied by other things. If I'm going I will ride over - but I cannot commit to leading a ride.

It's a bit blowy out there
Heading into the wind on the way to the allotment this morning was fine, no different from most recent rides ... after doing some harvesting (more leeks & the last few parsnips of the season :hungry:), weeding and digging, the storm arrived with a vengeance. The shed was visibly juddering in its moorings  with wind slamming into it, and the trees were quite noisy, too.
Luckily I had to carry home all my seed potatoes, onion sets and the harvest, so maybe 15 kg in the panniers, to weigh me down. It was fun with the wind behind me (most of the ride), but 'interesting' in the few crosswind sections. Just as well I was on the 'right' (downwind) side of the 4-wheeled traffic, so not too scary.
Saw some freshly ripped fabric advertising sheets flying in the wind like sails - wouldn't like to be there when they come loose :surrender:.
MetOffice readings from Edinburgh Gogarbank for the last couple of hours were gusts of 46 & 53 mph...

Had a wee ride early this pm and can confirm that the cross-winds were not nice  - coming up Silverknowes Road I had to stop, as the effect seems more pronounced on a 'bent and I was wobbling all over the road, so stopped to let all the traffic (well about 4 cars ) past. All previous cars had given me plenty of room when they overtook .

Headed back down S'k Rd and managed 62.32 kph :wahhey: - cue the recumbent  !

Not windy in Glesga today, but yesterday' ride in was a battle. Missed most of the storm, as by the time I had finished work it had quietened down.

can any of our Ayrshire contingent pimp me some rides around Craig Tara. off in April and might take advantage of my folks having a caravan down there
