Back in the day, up to the end of WW1, Austria was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire, which had an Adriatic coastline.
The old joke about the Austrian president:
Are you watching the Austria-Hungary match tonight?
Yes, who are we playing?

But SoM is WW2 - by that time, I thought Austria was a separate country! He wasn't old enough surely to have been a captain in 1939ish?

In the Sound of Music, the Von Trapp Family escape the nasty Nazis by going over the mountains, when we visited Salzburg, the tour guide pointed out where it was filmed, and told us that going in that direction led straight to Germany!

In the film of Cinderella, indeed in all tellings of the story, the prince finds her via a glass slipper left behind as she flees just before midnight.

Everything that night, dress, carriage, glass slippers, was created using a magic spell that expires at midnight so how did the left behind glass slipper remain a glass slipper?

Its annoyed me since I saw the film as a kid.

And how is she the only person in the land that just happens to have that size of foot?

In Hot Dirty Housewife Nympho III the plumber is carrying a 10mm adjustable spanner which is clearly too small for the repair he is doing. And don’t get me started on them being housewives. I’m not sure they’re even married.

Would I be able to pick up the plot without seeing Hot Dirty Housewife Nympho and Hot Dirty Housewife Nympho II first?

Mission Impossible, how come they aren't electrocuted on top of a moving TGV? or to put it another way, how does a TGV move at speed without overhead wires?

The Fast and the Furious. Where do they get cars with 22 forward gears?

Well to be fair any car chase scene is the same - Bullitt famously.

How about mismatched engine-to-vehicle sounds? In the modern Italian Job the chasers are riding twin cylinder BMWs that sound a lot like inline-4 sports bikes.

Waterworld.

Dennis Hopper has his eye put out and doesn't seem to be in even the slightest bit of discomfort.

The planet is underwater yet Jean Tripplehorn still manages to somehow shave her legs.

... In Ayrshire, no less! (Yes it was filmed in South West Scotland).

To be fair, at the time, Eurostar was using it's dual voltage capacity and ran through the South Of England on the 750v DC 3rd rail as far as the tunnel. Full 25Kv AC OHLE only came later with HS1.
I think they took a piece of artistic licence on that one.

Still, hardly particularly realistic, seeing as it was a TGV, not a Eurostar (despite E* technically being a TGV)
