It's a Cube
I don't think that's a reason for @cuberider .... Not sure how I might know that

I don't think @Accy cyclist will ever decide until he actually bothers to ride a few bikes

Hello fellow cyclists

I took my 2013 Cube Agree GTC Race to my LBS this evening as I spotted what looked like the start of a crack on the seat tube. That has been confirmed by my LBS and they told me not ride the bike any more and asked me to leave it with them :cry:Not what I expected after 5 months and just 318miles

Tomorrow they are going to start a warranty claim! The only problem is the guy at my LBS said that historically Cube have been very slow at dealing with warranty claims But they are apparently addressing this internally.

Has anyone else had any experience with Cube warranty process, either recently or historically? I'm now a bit worried im going to be bikeless for weeks and weeks

The more worrying thing is that the guy said that mine is the second 2013 Agree GTC Race with a cracked seat tube they have had back in the past couple of days

Details? Link? What about other manufacturers?

If I knew how to provide a link I would.
Commencal had the same issue, but as far as I know have fixed it by better design.
I haven't heard anything from Cube about how they have rectified it.
Do a google search, plenty of info that way.

I don't know where you found the post from Chris1983...what was the outcome? Did he ever post again?

Just go and get the Cube

whats stopping you?

The bank account i opened is stopping me! I have the debit card but they haven't sent the pin number. Until they do my card won't work. It pees me off, because i have the money to buy a bike in cash(bags of notes and pound coins due to my job)but i can't buy a £1000 bike with pound coins. Ok i could, but who'd send a thousand pounds in cash through the post?

You don't need a PIN number to buy via the web or on the phone, only in person. You should usually be able to activate via the phone, not only in an ATM

The bank manager told me the card won't be activated until i pin the number in in the hole in the wall machine. He also said they could send the payment to the bike shop but i had to get their sort code and account number etc. That's what i did today with the latest Cube i linked. They gave me their details then i just happened to ask if a 60cm frame would be ok. That's when they said it'd be too small for me. Why the feck don't Cube make frames in the size they're supposed to be?! It's like Clarke's making shoes in size 8 then selling them as size 10.:cursing:

Weird bank!

I can't imagine a 60cm cube will be too small at 6'1. Have you compared the geometry to current bikes?

As is said often, bike manufacturers measure different bits of their bikes for the size labelling, there is no universal standard. That's why it's important to try them out
