I phoned the shop up,selling the Cube http://www.discountcyclesdirect.co.uk/catalog/product.php?CI_ID=14989&O_ID=1and they told me the bike would be too small as Cubes are 2 sizes smaller than other bikes. So it's more like a 56cm frame than the 60cm it's supposed to be.You see now, it's not all my fault i can't find a bloody bike!
Anyway, i've found this. http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/m7b0s6p5219/CANNONDALE-SUPERSIX-TIAGRA-2013 It's a step back down to Tiagra. What do you reckon?
It's black

And old tiagra. Find a bike with 4700 tiagra or better 5700 105

I suppose the discounts on 2015 models will be pretty good by then.

Having said that, if it was my money i'd be saving it for a friction free hover bike.

Remind me what was wrong with the two bikes in the very first post?:banghead:

The cube is £700 and available in a 60cm. Could upgrade to 105 and still come in under a grand

Someone said the wheels weren't up to much. I can't remember who but it put me off the bike. Do you know, i have a funny feeling i might end up with that bike. It reminds me of the time i went for a pair of shoes. I liked the first pair but had to go around all the shoe shops in the precinct, trying on a pair. About three hours later i went back and bought the first pair i'd tried on.

On a £700 bike, the wheels won't be perfect etc...they aren't on £1500 bikes

That said the fulcrum 7s are actually a very good wheel at that price point

Have you considered getting a frame and then building it to your exacting specifications...although God help us all when you start which parts do I need threads!

You realise they probably have only one of those bikes in your size being an old model...by the time you decide it will have sold and it'll cost you 50% more for the current model

If only you'd made a decision within three hours! You'd have spent many happy hours riding the bike by now...and our lives would not longer be in some sort of weird limbo and we wouldn't be discussing Hitler!
