I just 'accidentally' went into a newly opened Giant bike shop.

The shop wasn't particularly large, but it was selling bikes made by Giant. I've actually decided I quite like this.

So it looks like I'm about to cause a 5 grand hole in my bank balance.

The heart wants what it wants. But I would be more careful with your other anatomy.

That's £1000 straight to Mr Osborne and in 12 months time the bike will be worth £2000 on ebay.

I hang on to my bikes until they disintegrate / everything becomes obsolete, and even then I keep them alive. VAT is what it is, so meh. I very rarely spend big money on a bike, too many variables involved, am I going to get taken out by kamikaze wildlife / idiots, will it attract thieving scumbags, etc etc. But this does look like a very nice bit of kit, so we shall see.

My happy bike  only cost £575.
If it'll make you smile like mine does you have to buy it :bicycle:
Looks lovely.

I saw one of these today at Cafe Ventoux, it belonged to a bloke that looked very familiar, only twigged later it was Austin Healey.
Bike looked very nice.
