So, essentially, your point is that this person should be made an example of to carry the burden of all drivers' misdemeanors?
err that is how the law works. It is also why offences are compounded by running away from the scene and then shouting about it.

Like the one who just got 10+ years for going to the very next stage and actually killing the tandem riders.

Not sure having a seized up purple British Eagle full-sus mtb in your parents garage makes you a cyclist.

This is probably more like it.

Well yes. But it is not the duty of the cycling 'community' or anyone else to decide the nature of the sentence...

I don't think tthe cycling community are going to be deciding that. I mean, you may have a greater understanding of the legal system than I do, but I'm quite certain they won't determine the sentence.

You appear to be creating a whole lot of false propositions to argue against.

Nope - she has already been sentenced by the cycling community.

Sentenced to be thought of as a selfish, self-centred, rather extremely dim pea-brain who has no concern for anyone else's safety and is only sorry because she got caught.

Any other type of sentence will, as you say, be passed by others.

She was on Radio Norfolk today. Someone phoned in and said" I promise I'm not having a go, but why did you post pictures of your speedo at 95mph and you tailgating another motorist?"

"I can't talk about that" her brief said.
