About 7 hours ish. I don’t wear a smart watch and thus have no number for the time actually asleep.

Not enough 😬
Mr M retires long before I do.
I go to bed around 10.30 - 11.30 ish.
Sometimes have a snoozy afternoon on my days off to catch up.
Doesn’t help with the gangly legged dog and latest cat on the bed and other two cats coming in and out, expecting food at all hours! 😬

I remember as a child a bloke on our street who wore a string vest with nothing over it all year round come rain or shine! He was rumoured to sleep in either his armchair or in his always parked at his front door caravan, but never in his matrimonial bed. 🤔

You grew up on the same street as Rab C. Nesbitt. That's where you got your inspiration for dressing well.

As with most people, I seem to sleep less as I get older.

I now count four uninterrupted hours as "a full night's sleep." Which, possibly not so coincidentally, seems to be about my bladder capacity.

I average seven hours or so across a 24-hour period by adding short naps.

Hmm seems I am not most people, I am now 62 and I have a fitbit and according to that
my average sleep for 2020 5:48, 2021 6:19, 2022 6:23, 2023 6:24 and this year 7 hrs exactly.
Maybe 2024 has gone up as I have decided 2025 is the year I retire ( only 4 months to go hurrah)
