I must've had 40 jobs since leaving school 39 years ago. My current job has lasted the longest(nearly 12 years) Compare this to my dad who worked in the same job for his 49 years working life.

Age 18 to 27 clerkess in an insurance brokers then 27 to 53 in the prison service where I packed it in a couple of years early due to stress and am now living on a teeny pension rather than find any more work because I am basically lazy and enjoy being a lady of leisure too much.

You chaps have confirmed what I already knew, that I've led an exceptionally boring life. Left uni in 87, got a job as an IT systems analyst, now an IT project manager. That is all.

Oops, forgot I also had a very brief spell working p/t as well as current job.
Worked in the bakery dept of a supermarket, only until I'd paid the solicitor's bill for flat purchase.
Didn't enjoy the job but the cakes were nice .

Employers the land over are currently programming computers to analyse the CVs of their staff for the combination of Raf Firefighter, British Gas, Virgin, and bus driver. Shouldn't be too hard, I'll bet there's only one of you in the whole country....
