‘Another’ purchased today. But to be fair I will be putting one up for sale this weekend in return. That will leave me with a fleet of:

Trek Marlin 7 - MTB
Burgamont Grandurance 8 - Gravel
Trek FX3 - Hybrid
Fit - 22” BMX

Oh and my most favourite Carrera Subway - Winter / Beater / Shops / Loan bike 😁

I think I’ve now got every type of (My) riding covered. And am really happy with the stable.

Still rolling along

I think there’s still room for back up bikes for each type of riding😜😂

Roadbikes (Steel unless stated):

1986 Peugeot (was my winter commute for years, until I bought the Fixie). Great old girl.

1989 Bottechia (Summer / dry miles only). Lovely ride.

1990 Lombardia (Summer / dry miles only). Lovely ride.

1996 Peugeot (My Summer commuting bike from new until I retired two months ago). Love this bike.

2004 Giant (Alu) (Rarely ridden nowadays).

2015 Ribble (Carbon) (For the, now, occassional Sportive).

Gravel:

2023 Canondale (Alu) (Bought on a whim, and great ride for the various tracks and mineral line route round here).

Fixed Gear:

2016 Mango (was my winter commuter, until I recently retired, still a "nip to the shops" bike, when not using "The Beast", see below, or only got time for a quick 40 minute spin round the little strip of flat roads round here along the coast, before you hit the climbs up to Exmoor or The Quantocks. Love this bike.

MTBs

2004 Trek (hardly used nowadays).

2006 Giant (hardly used nowadays).

Unknown date, 2nd hand B'Twin .... "The Beast" (c15 years old?, bought for younger stepson when he went to Uni 12 years ago, re-inherited when we got him a fixie for commuting in "that thar Big Smoke") Go to bike for nipping to the shops etc., c8 mile round trip including c1/2 mile of stone and pebbles on first part of coast path, which The Beast belts over with suitable disdain.
