You may find the text here https://www.ellingtonpens.com/pages/our-story to be somewhat amusing and this is one of the brands that some love to hate.
Well within my price range, but I'd probably end up with ink all over the place. I've just watched the unboxing video: "The ultimate pen for explorers, creatives, and achievers" it says on the box, making me sad I never did choose the explorer career path. Inside is a card with a QR code for pen instructions, which is a bit too new-fangled for my taste.

At school I used to get complimented on my handwriting (The only thing I ever did get complimented on). My writing is now so bad that I often can't read notes I have left to myself.

Typing is now so universal that handwriting is rarely needed, which in my opinion is all for the better. I can remember many a time having to struggle to decipher a letter from someone, not necessarily because their writing was bad but because the style they used was different to the norm.

I now regard a handwritten letter as a good way to annoy someone you don't like.

If I want to kick the can down the road or into the long grass, I write.
But the price of postage means I have to be selective.
It does mean that there is a paper trail that can be followed. Rather than the electronic porridge that the internet delivers.

Don't put a phone number or your email address on the letter.

If you want to be a real arse you can write to the Secretary of the company at the registered address. That is frequently another company so it takes a while for them to sort it out and find the right person to deal with it.

Companies House site very good for finding names and the address.

Depends on what I'm after

If after advice or choosing which product I'll often call as sometimes answer misses the point or raises other issues or comment called person happens to make raises other questions.

Don't text. Receive them from couriers or appointment confirmation but with people I know I use Signal (often for calls to people I know as well). Won't use WhatsApp and won't give my phone no to people who allow WhatsApp access to their contacts list.

E-mail for less urgent stuff.

I trust texting even less now many are switching to RCS (rather than SMS) most providers not bothering to sort it themselves but just rooting it all through Google (who I totally mistrust). Signal much better.

Particularly if its written with green ink.

How about turquoise which is semi green. I remember our history teacher Mr Armitage at secondary school, on seeing my turquoise ink handwriting asking me if I was related to a certain pupil, who was my brother, as I was only the second pupil he'd ever known to use turquoise ink. That plus we had the same none too common surname, which did add to his assumptions!;)
