Yeah last night around same time this posted, did seem coldest night so far. Although only had shorts and t-shirt clean.

Yes it's on, but only for an hour in the evening. My house leaks heat, and feels damp as well as cold. And I'm always freezing. Don't tell me to wear 2 jumpers - I already am....:cold::biggrin::cold:

This year is terrible though - there were 2 days in August when it had to go on - once to dry my rain-soaked kit, and once cos it was 12 degrees during the day and if it's that cold, the heating is needed!!!!!

Hell no. All the windows are still open. Given the increase in our electricity cost, I think it will be jumpers all round this winter.
I do miss the free heating we used to get from our neighbours in London though - we didn't use the heating for 3 years.

Good grief not till middle of Oct at the least.

Although to be honest... I did v. briefly consider digging out a long sleeved top for the morning commute today ;) fortunately common sense prevailed

Hell no! Got at least another 6 weeks of 'just closing the curtains' followed by another 6 of 'jumpers and cosy slippers on', so the little oil filled radiator that heats our living/dining/kitchen room should be on just in time for Christmas ;)

Ours is on...but only for a little bit this morning and a little bit this evening. I want to check the timer, boiler, etc, all work properly before it gets to the point of needing heating. This way, if it's broken, I can get it fixed before hypothermia sets in.

I haven't had the heating on for the last two years and now that it’s more expensive there is no chance it will be going on this winter, for me it is heating or eating

Same here numbnuts, thing is with double layers on it doesn't actually get too bad...

Not until November at least.

Lived in a room over a garage with a leaking flat roof and ice on the inside of the windows in winter.Used to sleep in many layers of clothes including hat and gloves.
