I've just been to join the local council run leisure centre. I have my 'induction course' this coming Wednesday. I had a look upstairs in the gym' to see how busy it was. It was quite busy and i noticed someone was using my static bike..grrrr!! The swimming pool was fairly quiet,but i noticed most in there were fecking about and not actually swimming!
I think i was the oldest one there. I'll probably start off by acting all naive and unfit,then let rip and show 'em how it's done!

Do you wear a swim cap and if so why? They say they reduce drag,but i'm bald so i have no hair to drag.
I've dug out my goggles which i've had for 27 years,but haven't worn for 25 or so years. I hope they don't let in water.

Budgie smugglers are the reason why i haven't been to the baths in years. Too much on show for my liking,when you get to a certain age.. Then i discovered.

I'll save the budgie smugglers for the men only sauna sessions.

I'm getting ready for my gym' induction course. I'm going to wear my swimming 'jammers' under my shorts in case i go for a swim afterwards. I'll take some shower stuff as well. I don't think they supply towels so i'll take one with me. I'll also need my reading lasses to see stuff close up as i'll be wearing my contact lens.

I wear prescription goggles in the pool, without them I can see very little.
