Two of us know where it is... but we've had far too many 'wins' in this game so we're keeping quiet so someone else can hopefully find it.

My initial guess of Scotland wasn't wrong but i wasn't looking high enough. Aravis' first clue led me to it.

HTH

I'm wondering if this game needs a bit of a reset. These days I tend to enjoy hunting for the locations more than setting the problems, but now and then something which I think should work well comes to mind. Maybe there's a way of weakening the expectation that solving one means setting the next?

I thought the current one was an excellent challenge and I thoroughly enjoyed tracking it down. But when I don't want to set the next, should I spoil the fun for others? Will my vanity allow me to keep completely silent and not let anybody know how clever I am? Ok I need help

For the avoidance of doubt, I hope the thread goes on for a very long time.

In the past I've just offered the next challenge to whoever wants to set it. There always seems to be a taker.

In the case of this road, I'm thinking I'll give it a few more days and if no one's got it then I'll jump in and maybe set a new challenge or just leave it open to whoever.

I enjoy the thread, and speaking purely for myself here, but I don't think the cryptic clues help.

If you're going to offer a clue, make it something practical; direction the photo is taken, country, county, whatever.
