Yes, well done. I used to work in Coventry and went for some cracking rides down this way to the edge of the Cotswolds on summer evenings after work.

I remembered that and the view looked familiar so I was going to check some of my rides in that area...

I just found it was very close to the route of the Shakespeare 100, which I rode a couple of times.

I've just checked and I've been up Ebrington Hill but not by that particular lane, and it was two years ago. But I have been in that general area this year. Not a bad guess on my part.

I hoped it wouldn't take too long with the Cumbrian Mountains in the distance, some pylons and a glimpse of the TV mast's support in the foreground.

Here, on the road from Hay to Craswall, looking south towards the latter.

I'd earlier been looking right around Hay Bluff, but decided to widen the search area.

A few hundred yards down the hill towards Craswell, but @robjh has the correct road.

It's a fine road, running roughly parallel and to the east of the Gospel Pass route and rising to 442 metres. An excellent alternative and guaranteed to be almost traffic free.
