It did look like that in the Street View picture, but as my personal picture shows - it is actually more of a 'waterflat'!

My singlespeed bike is not great on big hills! You are correct. We were far from that Yorkshire border.
The shadows on the road are telling you something. (My photo was not taken very early or very late in hours of daylight.)
One of the things that has changed is the curious roadside structure on the left. I wonder what it is...?
Another changed thing... My bike. It never used to look like that!
Yes, t'Ings have changed. Much more appealing to people now than they used to be...
