Planning to book my train tickets today. Any idea what time the group cycling back to York will be entering that fair city? Cheers.
Any idea what time this group will arrive back in York on Saturday? I need to book my train tickets. Cheers.By all means
This is the route we've taken the last couple years. Optional cafe stop at Holme-on-Spalding-Moor if required.

OK. Will purchase accordingly. Cheers.I'd have a guess about 1:30-2pm being a bit cautious.
Hello Wowbagger, I'm on the 8pm train from St Pancras, which I'm guessing (being a non-Lunnerner) is the same place. I think I'm also on the 1.30 back from Hull. We have met, once, on this ride last year I think - I offered you Haribo but clumsily dropped them on the ground during the exchange (it was dark). You ate them anyway. Glad to see you survived.
I suppose it could also depend on whether the train came in forwards or backwards.Unfortunately that depends on whether it's a 125 or a 225. For a 125 it will be North End, for a 225 it will be South end (normally).
Unfortunately true - if the guard spots it, as you're not allowed to lock your bike to the train. However in theory there's nothing stopping you locking 2 bikes together either side of the posts, providing you don't put the lock through the post.I thought locking the bike in the guard's van wasn't allowed?
