Good work dell.
Did you wear longs ?

for the first seven miles or so, and then over the Bridge. And let me tell you, that bridge is something in a cross wind. I was glad not to have bladed spokes. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed it tonight.
My big mistake was lunch. I'd intended to stop at a sort of works canteen in Flixborough. It serves school dinners gone large for about four quid a go - the only problem being the hill that awaits you when you get under way again. But........when it started to rain I dropped in to a chippy in Keadby, and I have to say that I was kind of concerned when I started eating. Spool forward six miles, and, on that very hill outside Flixborough, the fish and chips described a perfect arc over my handlebars.
After that I was pretty done in - crawling in to Hull at about 2.15, having taken five and a half hours to do the seventy odd miles.
