No they will be. Greg is Mr. Customer Service.

Indeed he is. I've just been through some of the reports for last year, Ross for one got a full English just after 4.30.

Yikes, that is indeed dedication.

This is one reason why Brighton, and the Madeira, is the premier destination for FNRttCs.

Remind me to congratulate him, and his staff, even more.

Free train tickets from Southampton Central to Waterloo for three lucky Friday Nighters for the Martlett's ride.

PM me if you want to take advantage of this offer - 3 tickets available on the 2055hr which gets in to Waterloo about 2240hr. You'll have to make your own way to SOuthampton central - I'm not that generous!

Just curious: why tickets from Southampton, when you can get a train straight to Waterloo from Fareham (or ride to Pompey, which is nearer you)?

I'm guessing that the Madeira won't be open at 4-20, so unless you're planning on leaving before breakfast, there's little point in getting there that early (and as far as I'm concerned, breakfast in Brighton is part of the point of the ride!)
Greg will be there from about 2.40 on............

OK but you will only embarrass him, I really think he regards that as just a normal basic standard.
he knows that, being at the end of the line, he's at a disadvantage, and works hard at overcoming it. The school parties, and odd gatherings of car enthusiasts that he draws in keep him going. We're but a small part of a year-round effort.

Southampton to London on a Friday night at 2055hr = £1 per ticket is why.

Fareham to London = £30. And I get a bit more exercise pedalling to Southampton.

I actually thought of you yesterday when I was practising indoors!

More clipping/unclipping practice tomorrow morning, then I'll head out for a short spin and see what happens

I wish you the very best fortune. Just don't do anything in a hurry or on the spur of the moment. Unclipping both feet helps to begin with, and don't be in any hurry to clip back in. Let us know how you get on.

Good luck.

Are we going for an award here, for best decorated junction?

In which case, I am contending! Must remember to get some more batteries for the fairy lights. What else can I add to my bike to make it sparkle?
