In which case, I am contending! Must remember to get some more batteries for the fairy lights. What else can I add to my bike to make it sparkle?
Hmm. OK, I'll have a go at the lighting/reflective "most sparkly junction" contest.

I hope to have glowing balls.

Tis all kickin' off in Brighton Town it seems.... with more night time rides planned

If you are a bookface type you might want to wander over here and do a spot of liking
Well, I'm really surprised by that quote from Robert. The FNRttC will survive the BHF night ride (billed by them as 'the first night ride to Brighton'). All it takes is a bit of work selling it and a decent product.

+1. As with the Moonriders rip-off, we're the original and best ;)

Decent marketing could see a swish Martlets jersey become available for all those who subscribe to their ride. No t shirt - just go for the full-monty cycling shirt. Wearing it for subsequent rides might encourage a bit of 'ad-hoc' fundraising by smaller groups doing their own little bimble etc...just thinking...
Up the entry fee a bit to accomodate a Gear Club jersey hmmm...

"Brighton Rocks with The Martlets" "By night, by day, we're leading the way" - go to war with the other upstarts. (Where's my pipe smoker photo, Stu?)

Here for rides.
A neighbour of one of my closest and oldest friends is in the Martlets at the mo.

This is what comes from having friends old enough to be living in sheltered accommodation.

I don't think I'll have time to decorate my junction, it's probably only about a mile from the start! I'll just stick with my normal array of ludicrously bright lights and maybe put the Dinotte on in mad seizure inducing flashing mode (someone remind me to kill it on the ride, unless I'm by myself in the middle of nowhere, or the actual physical TEC).

At the risk of stuffing the whole thing up, seen the weather forecast? Dry, gentle winds, not cold.

I note that you vacillate, as Adam observed, between the conservative and the utterly reckless.
