Just got in, shattered as had a last minute guest vistiting from abroad so been showing her around London. I need to eat and sleep. A bit under par and a cold brewing but will take it easy and walk hills if I need to.

See you later!

Have given up all hope of restoring the Furai to some sort of order (for now) but can see the Seiran itching for a trip to the coast. Its only a bit bigger than the car... ;)
Can I get a +1 please Simon?
Andy.

the sunrise could be spectacular with those clear skies, i'd even like to take dslr camera with me. but broken one lens on while carrying it in saddlebag, i really don't want to break another one (how do you carry those fragile things on a bike?).

What's the occasion??
you need an excuse to drink prosecco? Call yourself a cyclist?

a thankyou for Antonia to those of you who stood beside the road for hours on end, smiling all the while.........

I have to agree with Rimas about the sunrise. There may be some discreet hurrying up of the back of the ride, the intention being to get you away from the car park at the bottom of the Beacon by seven. Sunrise at 7.24 could be lovely.

Merino top + winter longs + warm train = overheating User482. Further removal of garments = arrest.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Paddington, 21.30. You? Who will get to the cheese flapjacks first- you or User482?

Marylebone, 2230 or thereabouts. User482 not only arrives earlier but is already in the right place.

All that assumes that the tubes and the tyre I've just put on stay appropriately inflated - otherwise I'll be late, and probably on a different bike.

Well I have to agree, then, that your flapjack chances are not looking good. As I have 45 mins of train journey and the same again of hanging about, I'm not even sure User482's chances are that great either. Will you go straight to HPC from Marylebone?

Unless there's a better offer! I don't much fancy hanging around HPC for the best part of an hour and half.

My plan is to have a pint at Paddington with User482 and then whizz down to Victoria, where I've said I'll meet Amy and the regular crowd. User482 might be inclined to whizz with me, or he might prefer to hang about drinking more beer. I'll PM you my mobile number...
