Last time I tried walking Ditching I got bored and hopped back on my bike.

I have PLAGUE - or at least, some cough/cold/sore throat combo that I've been failing to shake off for the last week. I will be incapable of yelling BOLLARD, getting up D*tchl*ng, or maintaining a cheery demeanor, so I think I might be better off spending the night in my cosy warm bed.
OTOH, last FNRTTC OF THE YEAR! I HAVE BARELY DONE A SINGLE ONE! OH NO BLUB! Maybe I should come out cycling?
Tell me what to do, the internets!

Surely there are another two FNRttCs after this one??? Although obviously you should come on this one otherwise we'll send Adrian round with hispointy stickpink jersey!!
Last time I rode up Ditchling I got accused of being a show-off!
n.b. I may be a show off anyway
That's what I thought. According to the Blog, there's meant to be one to Whitstable in November, and another to Southend in December.
The last couple of years, when we've tried to do NotTheFNRttCs between the official end and start of the FNRttC seasons, the weather has frequently buggered up those plans. We never managed to beat the weather in 2009, and In January 2011 we eventually managed to do a Christmas 2010 night ride to Bognor, although with only 4½ of us!
WLTM 3 other cyclists interested a quick return to London (preferably London Bridge).
I do want to grab breakfast in Brighton but I need to get back home ASAP. Anyone else considering a speedy return to the Smoke?
Me too although only 5 miles for meI'll probably be riding home too - but then I only live ten miles outside Brighton.
I wasn't sure whether I would be up for riding the new bike on this one (oh ... have I not mentioned that I've got a new bike? ), having only had it for a bit less than two weeks and hardly having had time to rack up the miles. But I went out with my buddy yesterday and did 45 miles with no problems, so I think it will be OK.
I love this bike! Sometimes it feels like it's got a motor in it compared to the old one. I think I'll be looking for some moral support when it comes to the Beacon though. Tecs - look out for a little newt standing at the side of the road crying ...
aha! What you need is no ordinary calendar! What you need is aI failed to put anything past October in my calendar
