For anyone in the Sheffield area, Polaris are doing a big warehouse sale tomorrow with free breakfasts and coffees for all visitors.
It's a pity that I'm so far away as I really like their stuff and it wears well. I believe they are shifting all the old stock to make way for a rebranding under the new owners.

For a bike that was £1650 originally that seems to be a bargain imo given it's got a full Shimano 105 groupset. They're the lightweight bike from what was the NeilPryde stable (Nazaré - aero, Bayamo - TT, Bura - climbing).

I've got the Thompson Capella so don't need a climbing bike. Otherwise it'd have been added to the stable so I have the full NeilPryde complement.
Given it's essentially a copy of the Cervelo R5, with minor changes, £500 including extras does seem a good price imo. Change the wheels and the crankset and it should be well below 7kg.

What a lovely looking bike. Gotta say I've never heard of them before.
In the picture taken from straight in front of the handle bars they look slightly off-centre, judging by the white marker lines on the bars.

Yes, looks like the handlebars aren't exactly centred on the stem. Plus the wheel could be slightly turned, making it look even more on the wonk.
Apart from that trivial detail, looks beautiful. Am surprised it hasn't gone yet.
I wonder if the seller has a proof of purchase?

According to the seller she has the original receipt ... but they didn't pay £1640 for it - that's the current retail price.

SX unfortunately whilst good value is not great in my experience and I do like Sram kit. The shifters tend to malfunction and the cable comes off it's guide inside the shifter. I ended up having a couple of very spinny rides back to the start, as a result I changed the shifter to a higher spec.

Polaris have their end of line stuff on their eBay shop. Picked up a windproof LS top in red and black and a hi viz gillet for £40 delivered. The Gillette will do for freezing commutes as my cold weather jacket is black. Not a fan of all black clothing for commutes and road. Doesn't matter off road.
