SHIMANO ST-R 600 Short Reach STI levers for small hands - 9 speed

Spooky! I just discovered them yesterday. Then Spandex remembered that that's what came with our bikes anyway:wacko:. Just when I thought I'd found an answer to my small hand problem...

I assume there is no way to grab these "online"?. At that price I would defo go for it and build up a winter hack.

He did mention that they are selling some through ebay, though how frequently I couldn't say. I would definitely ring sharpish though as, after tomorrow, they are closed for 2 weeks as it is a training establishment.

All the best, Andy

I reckon Specialized rib cage are the best value for money bottle cages, look good too and no real weight penalty.

Even better are the Tacx Tao Alu bottle cages – as used by the pros, hold your bottles very securely, look good and cheap (in ProbikeKit they are £7 quid with a free bottle I believe).

Good price, little information!

As far as bargains are concerned, I am yet to see anything better than the jersey/shorts sets on www.lightinthebox.com.

For around £40 (including postage) you can get Pro team sets of short sleeve jerseys and shorts.

The problem is the size guides are very misleading, for example, an XL jersey is 44.1" chest - sounds about ok, but an XL pair of shorts is 26.8" waist - makes no sense to me.

Ok, I know that some size guides show unstretched sizes (the XL shorts I have at the moment are about 24" unstretched), but the online help person on the site says they are stretched measurements - again makes no sense to me.

So, I think these are bargains but can't be sure about the sizes. If anyone has already ordered, or knows a bit more than me about these sizes, would appreciate the help.

B*llocks! I just paid £150-ish for a set of 9-speed 105 stis for my winter bike revamp and I could have had Ultegra instead for less money

No idea about the sizing I'm afraid, but how confident are you that the stuff on that site is genuine? I reckon there's a good chance it's all counterfeit, I wouldn't even trust the hardware to be genuine!
Hopefully I'm wrong, because the prices are great.

"PBK is having a Sidi sale which includes, among others, Genius 5s for just under £70 (the older version with the Millenium 2 sole):

Bought Sidi Diablo Goretex, arrived today! The only trouble with them is that they are on the small side. I ordered size 41 (UK size 7) but I think they are under size 7 as I am normally Size 7 when buying Shimano SPDs. According to some comments is other Forums Sidi are normally on the Large side. Anyway, thanks Matthew for Posting.

You're welcome. Re sizing I would have said the opposite actually. I wear 44 Sidis and 43 (UK 9) street shoes. From comparing in shops I've found that Sidis are similar in length to Shimanos but narrower. Is width the problem?

Shimanos are quite narrow compared to say northwave, definately try before buying in shoes I recommend.
