Greg, with my typed notes and your preparation we should have enough info to avoid going too far astray via instructions from the Garminator. We can decide route on the day, you might not fancy cycling with us:biggrin: We'd probably look to cut across somewhere below Epsom/Leatherhead but above Crawley, en route to Farnborough via Guildford. But then we could all do the ride across to Leatherhead area and then split up, one left to Horsham, one straight on for Farnborough and one right for Staines. That way we'd all share the majority of the ride and have about equal solo distances left at the end.

Davy, don't worry mate I'll keep the Garminator in line and we may even have the odd toilet break in your absence, fond memories and all that:biggrin:

Sorry I should have said sooner being am now a stalwart of long rides and frequentant of every new WC on route that takes my fancy, but, and am sure this will sadden some, I wont be able to make this ride as much as I would love too!

This is due to the fact that this date falls upon my 30th birthday weekend celebrations and my aunties wedding too, so I will be doubly pissed as a fart!

But hope it goes well! I know for starters am going to miss sig's signature cakes... and the garminator!

30? Now that is serious $hi 'walnuts'.

There are so many things wrong:
You avoid your mates when you could be improving the Whitstable pub trade.

You could be supplying cake-a-plenty - or at least a few tarts...

You rope in an Auntie's wedding as a non-sequiteur.

Davy. Get a grip! (Oh sorry I forgot - you already have a hold on you...)

Wedding gift tip: Don't give malt loaf...it runs in the family

Where's Kent?

The only one I know spends half his time in a phone box and the other half wearing a cape (CTC member you see...)

Anyway Chris, it will be an ideal time for you to meet richp, another stalwart of this forum- he's hooked now and would find the allure of Sig's cherry cake, and the warmth radiating from the candles on yours, too much to resist! Eh rich?

And I can't remember where I left the Garmin yesterday...

Tempting Ape, I'll see if I can get a pass.

Don't worry Stu, rides over 50 miles usually mean the 349/406 folders stay under my desk.

I'll be doing the FNRttC on a fixed, 700c, 44/16.

I was of course kidding (the more the merrier). You'll be getting plenty of exercise on a fixie, anyway (rather you than me!). What folders do you have?
