My Dad did it in the 1950's. Massive headache he said, quite literally. Bit more lead in the fuel in them days.

Ok. Seems to me that Summer is here; what better way to spend the time than on the coastline of England's green and pleasant?

Anyone want to do the coastline return from Whitstable, passing Madeira Drive and returning to London Hyde Park Middle..? (OK Corner if it is too much)

317.52kms the return.

+ whatever is needed to get to where you live.

I think us Southern softies need people of the calibre of longers, Greenbank, Noodley to show us what it is all about...

If there are any places left on this ride can you put me down for it please.

As I will be riding back I will be going along at a leisurely pace and therefore don't mind hanging near the back and being a TEC.

I'll also have a few tools with me as I did on the Brighton run just in case any mishaps occur.

Herne Bay, Margate, Ramsgate, Deal, Dover, Folkestone, Dymchurch, Rye, Hastings, Pevensey, Eastbourne...

Road gets a little bumpy through Newhaven, Peacehaven, into Brighton, and then those hills we love so much on the way back up.

My dance card fills at 2pm. Seems doable, and suitably inadvisable.
What do you reckon?
