FNRttC FNRttC to Newhaven, Dieppe and Paris 2011

Seeing as there is no more room on the ferry out it there's no point in me making plans for Dieppe. That's the price I pay for not reading CC for a few weeks and missing out on all sorts of good stuff.

If I can get Friday off I'll join you for the ride down to Newhaven then, mosey on over the Brighton with the others and see what happens next.

Has anyone booked a return trip?

I haven't. Would be such a disaster if they were all sold out and I had to stay in France for ever, eating pains aux raisin...

Also, has anyone booked anywhere in Paris? I should prob get that booked as will be filling up with other Tour followers.

Well, I've just called them out of curiosity and they say that they are indeed already fully booked for both bikes and foot passengers on that crossing. There are 22 bikes booked on it. Looks like we will have lots of company.

Don't forget my GPS shows all the pubs. I just need to find an app which tells me which ones open at 8...............

So to sum up, this ride is really only going to the nearest open pub between Newhaven and Brighton, losing a few lucky ferry ticket lottery winners along the way.
