Do you know which fund(s) your pension is invested in? That's extraordinarily high.

Other than its with Standard Life, other than its supposed to be on a safe profile, God knows what would have happened if I had opted for high risk!!

The problem with "safe" is that this often goes with a high proportion of bonds in the portfolio. Bonds have performed badly due to the rapid increase in interest rates.
