You need to learn the art of the regular snot rocket
Can't help wondering how the (unheralded) wheel sucker would have coped with a stylish bunny hop immediately in front of him followed by the realisation of a bloody great pothole about to swallow his front wheel. Would he have blamed the OP, had he had the chance?Bunny hop over potholes!
hmm, OP suffered a damaged wheel. When a car does it it's often serious injury or death. That's why when cars do it people tend to get more annoyed. When we are on here saying what a load of tossers car drivers are, maybe we should look at ourselves first :0)

Car drivers ride bicycles. Cyclists drive cars too.
Tossers on bicycles, tend to be tossers in cars.

I went out early this morning to try and avoid the traffic and every time i shoulder checked going around Richmond park i had someone right on my wheel . They must have pedaled like the clappers to get on it as i didn't pass anyone slowly . If it's just going with the flow and catching up then fair enough but chasing someone down and sitting on their wheel is a bit out of order i think .
I wasn't even going very fast![]()
Well obviously if you are going for a strava segment its ok but any other timeIn Regent's Park last night I sprinted to catch the fastest guy (then another guy also joined) who came past me then shamelessly drafted him for as long as I could. It was about a lap and a half, and even then I had to sprint as hard as I could away from the lights or out of corners to get on his wheel again. He didn't seem to be trying too hard, but I got a lap PR, and even got a 4 lap PR with 2 1/2 laps at a recovery pace. I didn't have the breath to thank them. My legs still hurt.
