Nah. Most computer games now can properly emulate the sounds of different cars accelerating. It's just a matter of tying that code to an actual accelerometer rather than a virtual one. In fact...

I think Audi and Porsche play engine sounds when accelerating inside the cab.

I had a clothes peg and cardboard to make engine noise on my child bicycle.

I wasn't allowed a Spectrum. BBC B for me (educational you see - thanks Dad).

Currently Intelligent Octopus needs either the charger OR the car to be compatible.

Compatible chargers are Ohme and Wallbox and the Zappi should be compatible in the next few weeks as they are nearing the end of testing. There may be other chargers that I'm not aware of.

We will need to change one of ours as Oxford is expanding the ZEZ over the next couple of years, I’m not particularly enthused by the idea.

Big dirty Disco has gone , swapped for used A Class petrol for commuting duties . SWMBO is looking to swap in the e class Cab , for possible an SUV petrol or EV. A diesel we think would die with her driving pattern . Just not sure ?!

Much as it pains me , been looking at those as well as in budget . However other than the charging network , it’s not really growing on me .

They are the best EV, but I just can’t live with the styling, lack of a binnacle in front of the driver and poor build quality.
