Nah. Most computer games now can properly emulate the sounds of different cars accelerating. It's just a matter of tying that code to an actual accelerometer rather than a virtual one. In fact...... with a manual gearshift, the sounds, the way the V8 delivers it's power, stuff like that. Would need some huge computer code.
I think Audi and Porsche play engine sounds when accelerating inside the cab.

If I was to buy an EV , what would I need re charger etc compatibility with Octopus ? May bite the bullet on an EV this time around , doing the man maths currently!

We will need to change one of ours as Oxford is expanding the ZEZ over the next couple of years, I’m not particularly enthused by the idea.
Our relative is looking at a model Y.
Much as it pains me , been looking at those as well as in budget . However other than the charging network , it’s not really growing on me .
