Have the swallows departed southwards yet, or are they still gathering on the wires? As yes, Winter, that time of year when the rain and the drizzle becomes slightly less warm.

I thought it was rather warm here at 27C when I went out after work (about 16:45). Don't think I'd really want to ride at 42C, though I did a long ride when it was 32-35 last year.
And people say I'm cheerful! You say that Fritz, but it was chilly in the fields early AM. A very heavy dew too. This is the last fling of summer before the deathkill slaughter weather sets in.

I just got back from an hour long blast out in the country old the motorcycle… even that exhausted me in this heat.
My sister once worked in a frozen food warehouse. They'd have people suffering all sorts of medical problems from the constant cold to normal temperatures and back as they were walking in and out.
try working in a factory with no windows thats full of robots welding all night , we have had cases of people fainting in the past .Your literally dripping with sweat .
