No fuel issues here in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, with the locals thinking that some English are being made to look a bit foolish by the media... again!
I travelled literally coast to coast across England last week and the petrol queues were everywhere along the route. I think most of the midlands and south have seen some of it.Many on this thread alone are pointing out that from experience, it's a very, very localised issue in just a few places.
We are in Shepherds Bush/Hammersmith. The local filling stations serve the ends of the A40, the M4 and the M3. It's not entirely surprising that the hood is drier than the Atacama Desert at the moment.
Is it one of the 17 being converted to electric charging points only?It appears that this whole situation has been caused by Hoyer, who have the contract for BP fiddling drivers out of salary and pension funds, and treating their drivers like rubbish.

No just out of fuel, with no prospect of getting any, it’s one of the busiest ones in the area, even the Police and Ambulances filled up there, I’ve been all over the northern part of England this month from Northumberland, South Tyneside, Durham , all of Yorkshire and down to Nottinghamshire, the only closed ones I’ve seen are BP outletsIs it one of the 17 being converted to electric charging points only?
Hoyer, commonly known in the haulage industry as Hand Over Your Employment Rights. It appears that this whole situation has been caused by Hoyer
Just a few places ? That's wrong.FTFY.

I am unaware of any nationwide shortage of San Miguel. If there actually is one, I'm reassured by the knowledge that I have a stock of 168 cans in the back of my van, and a few more in the chateau. This is part of my "Not Just In Time" logistics strategy.Have you been panic buying San Miguel?
