Interesting quotes from Wot Poels saying that Cortina and Quintana punched him in the Volta a Catalunya in separat incidents. They were fined a small amount.
Wout had responded to Nairo saying he must be on the Tramadol again. Apparently Geraint Thomas supported Poels on his podcast saying that Quintana was an " Effing little rat"

This is an intriguing story. I admit to being very biased because I like Lizzy Banks very much. She's medically trained (I believe she completed most of a medicine degree before concentrating on cycling).

It would seem WADA and UKAD are the biggest doping gits of all! Who knew there are no minimums for some substances despite known risks of contamination detection increasing as labs improve and pharma factories get worse? Or that a positive for a tiny amount of a banned substance turns a permitted limited amount of a prescribed med into a second positive? I didn't.

It's totally astonishing.

Thanks for that. (It will be an interesting listen, as Lizzie has contributed to that podcast in the past, and I imagine the presenter(s) cannot help being more sympathetic in that situation, than when reporting on a case involving $random_athlete )

They actually got a journalist to interview her although I think he is sympathetic too. Lizzy is remarkably intelligent, I’m halfway through the podcast and I can’t help thinking that anyone less intelligent (such as me) wouldn’t stand a chance of exonerating herself via science! It’s an excellent listen!
