Do you talk to your bike?

I've not started to talk to "nubike" , we aren't yet that familiar yet (its only been a year) She's not even suggested a name to me yet. But I do say hello to Chitty each day and occasionally pat her on the saddle just to let her know I haven't forgotten her. I still feel guilty for demoting her on the commute for the lure of the flashy red roadie.

I'm totally serious by the way.

Not names but I do talk to mine occasionally when out on a good long ride or like today when she behaved very well.
I do swear at my legs too!

Nothing wrong with that. I talk to mine all the time cos the OH never listens. My Giant is called 'Giant' and my Specialized is called 'Mr Spesh'. My car is called Archibald and I talk to him too.

I talk to myself and sing very badly. When the fairy visits, I talk to the tyres when I can't get them back on the rims. Not in a very nice way either.

I must admit I mostly talk to Claude, although Polly gets a few words of encouragement from me as we are very new friends and learning together!
