If you had been a driver in a car signaling right I bet you they would have stopped. If you were on the RAB first, which it does look like, AND you had signalled clearly, then I think it's irrelevant whether or not you cut the RAB. A lot of these mini RABs don't have much room on them as they are an after thought to try and keep the flow of traffic moving on busy junctions. There's a fair chance if you had followed the RAB properly that any car behind you would have thought you were going straight on, that itself could cause an incident.
From memory I was past the give way lines first. Had a much worst time on a roundabout today - in a rush and saw that there was just enough room for me to make to across the roundabout in front of a car just pulling away on my right. It then became clear that I had misjudged it a bit so tried to sped up out of his way (and would of apologised), but he had to make a point and intentionally sped up (which I think he did when he saw me try to nip in front) and then held down his horn, continually, to make a thing out of it.
Now, I get annoyed people nipping out of me at roundabouts and would give a light honk, not try to run into the person holding my horn down....if he hadn't of intentionally put his foot down to make a point there wouldn't have been any problem, though I would have just made it through.
I've got it on video so will upload it on to youtube later tonight (you can't see him try to speed up too well, but you can hear him be a bit over zealous with his horn!).
I'll openly admit I should of waited in this case, but his actions were much worst than my accident.
I'll upload the video later....seems roundabouts just aren't going well for me this week
