Yes it has been quiet, mind you it's bedtime after a few overs. I thought we might have put NZ in for a spell, but it's a done deal now.

I’ve been enjoying the highlights show. So good to see sunshine, spectators on the grass banks and quality seam bowling. England got v lucky in first test but have really bossed this one. Harry Brook is on quite a roll, has some KP like qualities, will be interesting to see how far he goes.

At the end of the first day of the first test after NZ had carted England around the park for 319runs, I was expecting a very even series. England have bullied there way through since then. Good opportunity for Root & Stokes on day 3 to get the scoreboard rattling along, still leaving plenty of time to bowl at NZ.

Doubt New Zealand will get anywhere near 583, but stranger things have happened and there's plenty of time left for them. I had my doubts about some of the selections for this series but they were totally misplaced. Seem to have a good balance of more established players hitting form and younguns coming through at the right time which is pleasing.

The Aus v India has also been a good watch, impressive by Aus for sure.
